How Many Comic Books Are There

How many different Marvel Comics are there.

Is it even possible to count every Marvel Comic in existence?

Yes, of course it’s possible. I assume you’re asking how many separate comics has the company produced over it’s entire existence, and not how many are coming out currently. Marvel produces close to 100 new comics every month currently, but of course it wasn’t always so. In the 60s, they were actually limited to only producing 8 comics a month because of their distribution contract. They broke out of that in 1968, which is why there was a large number of new Marvel titles in ’68But as for all time, I can give you some estimates that will show you about how many there have been (I’m NOT going to individually count everything, although there may be some resource for that)Just round the numbers out and add up some titles. The title Thor appears in has just gotten to issue #600 (that’s including some separate Thor series, and it originally wasn’t called Thor and didn’t have Thor in it, it was Journey into Mystery when it began. But that’s still 600 separate issues produced by Marvel. There’ll be a couple like this)About 600 issues of Thor plus about 500 issues of Uncanny X-Men plus about 600 issues of Incredible Hulk plus about 550 issues of Avengers plus about 100 issues of Avengers West Coast plus about 600 issues of Captain America (I’m going to stop saying “About” now, just take it as implied) +225 X-Men +250 Wolverine +100She-Hulkok, let’s start over and list600 Thor600 Captain America600 Hulk100 She-Hulk500 Uncanny X-Men225 X-Men250 Wolverine200 X-Factor200 X-Force150 Excalibur100 New Mutants300 Punisher550 Avengers100 Avengers WC500 Iron Man500 Daredevil125 Thunderbolts600 Spider-Man300 Spectacular Spider-Man125 Web of Spider-Man100 Spider-Man125 Ultimate Spider-Man575 Fantastic FourThose are all estimates, and for some of Marvels longest running series. There are others like Dr. Strange, Luke Cage, New Warriors, Silver Surfer, the Western and Romance books from the 50s, but let’s just take that list right there. That list adds up to 6685. Now, I would take it as a very safe bet that if you add up all the other, smaller Marvel titles I didn’t include, including the hundreds and hundreds of miniseries, annuals and one shots, you’d easily beat that number, so double it to 13,370. Hell, round up to 15,000. I would say that number is a safe bet (probably a little low even). So there have been over 15,000 individual, unique comics published by Marvel since it’s beginning..

How many star wars books are there.

Approximate is fine.

Well over 100 books that bridge the time period from 1020 years before the events of ep IV to about 45 years after the events of ep IV. If you add in all the Dark Horse comics series about Star Wars, and before you say comics … gag me … just let me say that if you have never read a Dark Horse comic before give one a try … they are very, very well put together and are actually written by novel writers and inked by the best of the best … then you have stories in a time period from 5000 years before the events of ep IV to 130 years after the events of ep IV.Here’s a link that will take you to the Star Wars time line at Del Rey books … the official outlet for Star Wars books:http://www.randomhouse.com/delrey/starwa…A note about this list … it doesn’t have releases from the last 4 – 6 months on it … off hand I would say that would be either 4 or 5 books … it should update soon. This list also doesn’t include all the “Younger Reader” books of which there are at least 50 plus of. One thing about these “Younger Readers” books … they are NOT what you would expect them to be … simple wording, easy to see plots … things like that … in truth I have found many of them to be really good reads and even when the story drags you get to learn TONS of background info on different characters.Last, you can find a time line of the books similar to the one you get if you follow that link in the front of most of the newer paperback versions of the books.I know you didn’t ask it but if you’re looking for the best place to start my answer would be The Thrawn Trilogy … great set of books brilliantly written by Hugo Award winning author Timothy Zahn. The titles are “Heir To The Empire”, “Dark Force Rising”, & “The Last Command”. Of the 100s of books that I have read in my life “The Last Command” is one of only a very few that I have read cover to cover in one sitting … I just could not put it down until I knew how it ended.May The Force Be With You ….

how many harry potter books are there.

also do you like them ?and how many harry potter movies are there?are there making any more?sorry but I just got interested in harry potter so yeah.^_^

There are several Harry Potter books that I enjoy reading.Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone / Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s StoneHarry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsHarry Potter and the Prisoner of AzkabanHarry Potter and the Goblet of FireHarry Potter and the Order of the PhoenixHarry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceHarry Potter and the Deathly HallowsHarry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is just the US release of the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was the UK edition. Correct me if I’m wrong. Also J.K. Rowling made two separate books for Comic Relief;Quidditch Through the AgesFantastic Beasts and Where to Find ThemShe also wrote several copies of “The tales of Beedle the Bard”. Six were given away the seventh was sold at an auction for £1.95 million, which was donated to the Children’s Voice campaign.I think that she said that she planned to write a Harry Potter Encyclopedia which, if it’s true, I’m looking forward to it.There are five movies out so far;Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s StoneHarry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsHarry Potter and the Prisoner of AzkabanHarry Potter and the Goblet of FireHarry Potter and the Order of the PhoenixBut there is going to be eight all together. The reason for the extra movie is because recently it has been announced that the final movie is to be spilt in two parts, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Part 1 is scheduled for release in November 2010 and Part 2 in May 2011 so there is going to be a six month wait.It is unlikely that there are going to be any more adventures in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. I think she said that she was done with the series so she won’t keep going on it.I am a fan of the Harry Potter series as it is a good read. Shame the books have ended. Hope this answered all your questions. For all the Harry Potter information you need go to http://www.mugglenet.comAlso try listening to MuggleCast which is the podcast from Mugglenet. http://www.mugglecast.com

how many comic books are there to coheed and cambria.

The comics in the Amory Wars series are still being released, but so far there is a pretty solid library of them. There are 10 issues for the album “Second Stage Turbine Blade” as well as an Issue #0 “sketchbook” that offers background detail and character backstory. There are five issues released so far for their album “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3”. The series is currently forecasted to be 12 issues long, and Issue 6 will be released this month. There is a graphic novel that was released with “Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV Volume One”. To date, there is no story released for their album “No World For Tomorrow”. And although it is not a comic, there was a 352-page prose novel released as a companion to their album “Year of the Black Rainbow”.Claudio Sanchez and co-author Peter David have stated that they wish to release both a comic series and a novel as companion to each album in addition to past releases. Check www.theamorywars.com, www.coheedandcambria.com, and www.cobaltandcalcium.com for more details, or start speaking with members of the Coheed fan community.

How many Sabrina comic books are there.

I love the show and the comic books. I want to read every single one.

The 1971-1983 Sabrina comic series had 73 issuesThe 1997-1999 series had 32 issuesThe 1999-present series has 92 issuesThe character first appeared in Archie’s Mad House #22 from Archie Comics in 1962, and has had lots of back-up appearances in other comics from Archie (Like Betty and Veronica) but you’d have to do a LOT of research to find specifically which ones she appeared in. The 200 or so comics that I listed above should keep you busy for a long time, though, trying to track them all down.

  1. There are also 2 books that JK wrote for charity called “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them” and “Quidditch Through the Ages”Enjoy, they have totally changed my life 🙂

  2. There are currently 5 movies out, the 6th will be released November 2009, and the 7th (which is going to be made in 2 parts) will be released November 2010 (Part 1) and may 2011 (Part 2)

  3. There are quite a few variations of those comics as well. New X-men, Uncanny X-men, Amazing Spider man, Spectacular Spider man, Peter Parker Spider man, etc. There are 7 books

  4. Back in 1998 Dark Horse released a Buffy the Vampire Slayer series that went 63 issues with each issue having two covers, one drawn and the other being a photo. It also had an Annual released in 1999.2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

  5. You could go to Marvel.com and try to count them all, but they don’t have every single one in digital form yet.

  6. 4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.I recommend visiting this site for all things Harry related, it is the best HP site on the net that there is!7 books. First 5 books have been made as movies so far. They are currently filming the sixth movie, based obviously on the sixth book, ‘Half-Blood Prince’ which is due out at the end of this year. Seventh movie is being made into TWO not three parts. They start filming that early next year. Part one is scheduled for release in November 2010 and Part 2 in May 2011 so there is gonna be a big wait. They are shooting both parts together and is set to take up all next year.

  7. Harry Potter and the Goblet of FireHarry Potter and the Sorcerer’s StoneI think something like 12, not completely sure though

  8. They have their main comic lines like Captain America, Fantastic Four, Spiderman, X-men.In addition to these, Dark Horse also did numerous mini-series and one-shots starring all the characters from Spike and Dru, Oz, Willow and Tara, etc. If you go to http://www.milehighcomics.com and do a search for Buffy the Vampire Slayer you’ll find over 80 different titles/items they have available. Some of the stories have been reprinted into graphic novels so if you just want the stories, these might be cheaper for you to pick up then the individual comic books.

  9. -The Half-Blood PrinceWelcome to the world of Harry Potter.[/DELDUP]I like them very much. The books are better, because there is much more plot and detail involved. But the movies are still awesome. ^_^

  10. nicely The Umbrella Academy is honestly stable. It would not have plenty to do with bullying, in spite of the undeniable fact that that’s totally exciting. It has superheroes…that’s written by using Gerard way who’s the lead singer to the band My Chemical Romance and is illustrated by using Gabriel Ba who wrote Daytripper together with his brother Fabio Moon. Im 14 and that i particularly propose it.

  11. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s StoneI am reading the seventh book now and I am a late fan of the HP series. Late in the sense that I started to take interest pretty late after the first two films had already come out.I hope this helped.

  12. There are seven main books: The Philosophers Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows.RE:

  13. She also wrote seven copies of ” The tales of Beedle the Bard”, six of which were given away, and the seventh was sold in a auction.

  14. JK Rowling also plans to write an Harry Potter encyclopedia in the future. (I think)The movies are fun to watch and I really like them, but nothing can ever compare to the books. Considering all the detail involved in the books, the movies have done well so far. But you really need to read all the books, it is not possible to include half of the details from the books in the movies, it just can’t be done but they have done well anyway. Nothing compares to the books!-The Sorcerer’s Stone

  15. The last, seventh book that I am reading at the moment is going to be filmed into two films and not three as one of my friends stated above. So, there are going to be eight films in all for the seven books. Both the films will be shot once but released with a gap in between. The first film will come out in 2010 autumn and the second part in the summer to follow.

  16. Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsThere are also two other books, which are a spin-off from the main series: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch through the ages. How many star wars books are there?Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsYoung Avengers ran for 12 issues (2005-2006)Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets7 books

  17. There are 5 movies so far, but they plan on doing the entire series. The Half-Blood Prince comes out in November of this year.Oh, and if you would like even more info, I suggest http://www.mugglenet.com. It’s a great fansite with details on all of the books and movies. Plus some extra stuff I can’t remember.

  18. Finally there are 1 shots. A single issue (sometimes 2) comic based on a hero or villian. Sabra and Gladiator recently had issues.I do not know for sure how many there are but the link below will be a good place to search – good luck .-The Prisoner of AzkabanHarry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

  19. The current series, also from Dark Horse, is up to issue 24. Each issue also has two covers, one drawn and the other painted. This series is considered the continuation of the television series so it is commonly referred to as Season 8.

  20. Then there are short run comics that revolve around specific characters. Nightcrawler ran for about a year, Emma Frost had 14 or 15 issues, Deadpool has had a few titles over the years. Ms. Marvel ran for a couple years, then stopped and recently came back again.1. Harry Potter and and the Sorcerer’s ( /Philosopher’s ) stone.
